Junior finishes in fifth place overall

BREVARD, N.C. - Women's golfer Tonya Gruel-Wright shot a two-day total of 170 to place fifth in the Montreat College Fall Invitational held at Glen Cannon C.C. The fifth place finish was the highest in school history in a tournament where there were more than three teams and 20 total competitors. Her score also tied the school record for a two-round total. Taylor Banks has scored a 170 on two different occasions this fall.
Taylor Banks followed with a score of 197. Miranda Carballo finished the two-day event with a score of 206.
