Lions in Fourth Place at Emmanuel College Invite

HARTWELL, GA.-- Mars Hill's women's golf team is in fourth place after the first round of the Emmanuel College Invitational, which was played Monday at Cateechee Golf Club.

Lion golfers combined to card a score of 361. Sarah Johnson led MHU with an opening round 87 and is tied for 12th-place in the individual standings. Spring Hill College is in first place with a team total of 333, followed by host Emmanuel College with a score of 339.

The Invitational wraps up with second-round play today.
