Lions Place 18th at Myrtle Beach

SUNSET BEACH, N.C.-- Mars Hill's women's golf team placed 18th in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, which concluded Tuesday at Sea Trails Golf Club.

The Lions totaled a two-round score of 701. Victoria Barrett paced MHU with a score of 171. She improved her second-round score by three strokes. Saint Leo won the tournament with a team score of 609. Ashlii Thompson of UNC Pembroke was the individual medalist with a score of 148.

The Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate marked the conclusion of Mars Hill's fall season.
