Lions Finish in 12th at McAmis Memorial Invitational
The Mars Hill women’s golf team finished in 12th place in the rain-shortened Agnes McAmis Memorial Invitational on Tuesday.

GREENEVILLE, TENN. – The Mars Hill women's golf team finished in 12th place in the rain-shortened Agnes McAmis Memorial Invitational on Tuesday.
Sarah Johnson and Jacqueline McCormick each fired an 82 during Tuesday's competition. Victoria Barrett finished four strokes behind Johnson and McCormick with an 86.
Wingate's Caitlin Starrs was the winner with a 71, while Lee won the team competition by one shot over Carson-Newman. The tournament was shortened from 36 holes to 18 holes due to heavy rain on Monday.
The McAmis Memorial Invitational concludes the regular season for Mars Hill. The Lions wrap up the 2013-14 campaign next week at the South Atlantic Conference Championship in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
