ASHEVILLE, N.C.- Freshman Emma Lundvall fired a two-over-par 74 at the 5,939-yard Asheville Golf Club layout on Saturday to lead Mars Hill to a win over Bob Jones in a duel match.
Lundvall's season-low round was part of a Mars Hill team score of 338, outpacing Bob Jones' 458. Sarah Johnson finished in second place with an 86, followed by a tie for third between Victoria Barrett and Raven Brown with 89's.
Mars Hill returns to the course next Monday in the Tusculum Fall Classic at Link Hills Golf Club.
