Women's Golf Finishes 18th at Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

SUNSET BEACH, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's golf team finished in 18th place at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, held at the par-72, 5,810-yard Rees Jones Course at Sea Trail Resort.
Emma Lundvall led Mars Hill with a one-over-par 73 to finish in a tie for 30th with a total of 156. Lundvall lowered her score by 10 strokes from Monday's first round. Sarah Johnson finished the tournament with an 81 and a tie for 59th. Raven Brown fired a two-day 177, with Victoria Barrett wrapping up competition with a 181 and a 186 for Lindsey Ball.
Florida Tech's Johanna Larsson was the individual winner with a two-under-par 140, two strokes better than Wingate's Natalia Segura. Florida Tech was the team winner by 15 strokes over second place Wingate.
Mars Hill returns to action next Thursday against Milligan in the Border Battle at Elizabethton Golf Club.
