Johnson Leads Mars Hill in Second Round of SAC Championship

SEVIERVILLE, TENN. - Sarah Johnson led the Mars Hill women's golf team in the second round of the South Atlantic Conference women's golf tournament at the par-72, 6,006-yard Sevierville Golf Club River Course. As a team, the Lions are in 10th place after 36 holes.

Johnson shot an 82, followed by Emma Lundvall with an 83. Lundvall leads the Lions after the first two rounds with a 163 and is tied for 22nd place. Victoria Barrett lowered her second round score by six shots as she finished with an 85. Raven Brown finished with a 96, followed by Lindsey Ball with a 111.

Queens University's Graze Glaze leads by three shots over Newberry's Karly Mims. Wingate finished the second round atop the team leaderboard with a 36-hole score of 622, five shots ahead of Newberry.

The final round is scheduled for Wednesday.
