Women's Golf Finishes First Day of Pfeiffer Invitational

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Senior Sarah Johnson fired an opening round 80 to lead the Mars Hill women's golf team in first round action at the Pfeiffer Invitational at Hilton Head Lakes Golf Club.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Senior Sarah Johnson fired an opening round 80 to lead the Mars Hill women's golf team in first round action at the Pfeiffer Invitational at Hilton Head Lakes Golf Club. Johnson's score is good enough for 30^th place thus far. Emma Lundvall shot 83 in her opening round and was followed by Raven Brown with an 88 for 45^th and 83^rd, respectively.

The Lions currently sit in 13^th place overall and will look to improve on that as the concluding day of the tournament gets underway tomorrow morning.
