Women's Golf Concludes Coker Women's Invitational

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Mars Hill women’s golf team completed the Coker Women’s Invitational on Tuesday, March 15.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Mars Hill women's golf team completed the Coker Women's Invitational on Tuesday, March 15. The Lions held steady from day one and took home a fourth place finish with a total team score of 726 over the two-round tournament. Lincoln Memorial took home the overall team honors, shooting a 632.

Emma Lundvall paced the Blue and Gold over the past two days as she improved on her team-best 89 (+17) on day one, knocking off eight strokes and tallying an 81 (+9) for the final round. Those numbers were good enough for Lundvall to jump two places from 15^th to 13^th overall. Sarah Johnson shot a pair of 90s for her two rounds and finished in 18^th place.

Raven Brown bested her first round 94 with a second round 92 to collect a top-25 finish at 23^rd.

The team will return to action on March 20-21 as they head to Charlotte, N.C. to take part in the Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge at the Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation within the Queen City.
