Women's Golf Concludes Day One of Wingate Intercollegiate

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Mars Hill women’s golf team completed the first round of the Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge on Sunday, March 20 at the Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Mars Hill women's golf team completed the first round of the Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge on Sunday, March 20 at the Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation. The Lions shot a team score of 355 to finish out day one.

Emma Lundvall paced the Blue and Gold with a first round score of 80 (+7) which was good enough for a tie for 14th overall. Sarah Johnson and Victoria Barrett each posted a 91 (+18) and Raven Brown scored a 93 (+20) followed by Marie Syvertsen's 95 (+22).

The Lions will wrap-up the tournament tomorrow as the golfers will hit the links at 8:30 a.m.
