Lions finish fourth at Pfeiffer Invitational

The Mars Hill women's golf team placed fourth at the conclusion of the Pfeiffer Invitational held on Tuesday.

BLUFFTON, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's golf team placed fourth at the conclusion of the Pfeiffer Invitational held on Tuesday.

Janie Gooch was the top placing Lion, finishing 15th overall.  Emilee Wenmoth finished four strokes behind Gooch for a 17th place result.

Linnea Karlsson placed 19th while Jasmine Chesnut, finishing three strokes behind Karlsson, finished 25th.  Marie Syvertsen rounded out the Lions' team with a 33rd place result.

Mars Hill shot a combined score of 695 (+119) throughout the two rounds.
