MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill women's lacrosse team (2-8, 1-4 SAC) was defeated by Lenoir-Rhyne (3-8, 2-5 SAC) by a score of 18-0 Wednesday night.
The Lions were held scoreless after the first 30 minutes of play, trailing 10-0.
Lenoir-Rhyne piled on eight more goals in the second half, shutting out the Lions.
Mars Hill returns to action on Saturday, March 30 when they host UVA Wise. First draw is set for 1 p.m. inside the Ammons Family Athletic Center and Meares Stadium.
