Think Pink Kick for Cancer Night
Waffle House helps MHC Raise Funds for Kay Yow Foundation
MARS Hill, N.C. - The Lions' Athletic Department with the help of Waffle House is hosting Think Pink night at the women's soccer match Wednesday night. Mars Hill hosts SAC rival Lenoir-Rhyne at 7 p.m. in the Ammons Family Athletic Center and Meares Stadium. MHC will provide live video and live statistics during the event.
There will be a halftime waffle eating contest and other prize winning games. Waffle House will discount 15% off your meal until midnight on October 13, 2010 for students that attend the match. There will also be gift certificates for free waffles given out every time MHC scores a goal. In addition, MHC will raffle off a Think Pink Basket and pink soccer balls signed by the women's soccer team. As a final award for attending the game and supporting the Think Pink contest, MHC will be throwing Pink Nation t-shirts into the crowd. All proceeds will go to the Kay Yow Cancer Foundation.
