Taboas, Parker named preseason All-SAC

ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's soccer team is picked to finish in eighth place in the South Atlantic Conference preseason coaches' poll, it was announced on Thursday. Marthaliz Taboas and Chelsea Parker were also named to the preseason All-SAC second team.

Taboas posted two assists in 2010. Parker allowed 1.37 goals per game and made 86 saves last season.

Lenoir-Rhyne is a nearly unanimous selection by the SAC coaches to win the 2011 league title. The SAC women's soccer season officially kicks off on Sept. 1, and the Food Lion SAC Championship is slated for Nov. 1-6, with the semifinals and final taking place in Rock Hill.
