Women’s Soccer ranked in top 10 of NCAA defense

MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill is tied for eighth in the nation in goals-against average and shutout percentage, according to the latest NCAA statistics. The team is ranked ninth with a save percentage of .962.

The team's goals-against average is .173. The shutout percentage is .800. The team is ranked tied for 23rd in won-loss percentage at .900 with a 4-0-1 mark.

Catherine Watkins-Banks is tied for second in the nation with two game-winning goals. Chelsea Parker ranks 19th in goals-against average with a .290 clip.

Mars Hill travels to Young Harris on Wednesday. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m.
