BRISTOL, Tenn. – Mars Hill's women's soccer squad lost 1-0 on the road at King Saturday afternoon at Parks Field. The Lions fell to 0-2 on the season while the Tornados improved to 2-0 on the year.
Catherine Webb scored off a cross at the 80:29 mark to lift King to victory. The score was assisted by Miranda Smith.
Mars Hill was outshot 22-7 in the contest. King edged the Lions in corner kicks, 4-3. Maslyn Greene played all 90 minutes in goal for MHU and made eight saves. Nicole Dagher also played the entire contest in the net for King and made four saves.
Mars Hill will host Converse on Wednesday, September 10. Match time is set for 7:30 p.m.
