FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Lions and Emmanuel battled to a 1-1 draw Wednesday night in non-conference women's soccer action. Mars Hill took their season record to 4-12-1 while Emmanuel is now 2-10-3 on the year.

Hannah Russell gave the Lions a 1-0 advantage at the 34:09 mark when she scored on a breakaway. The goal was unassisted. The teams carried that score into intermission.

Kayla Brown tied the match in the 53^rd minute on an unassisted goal. Neither team could find the back of the net for the remainder of regulation or the two overtime periods.

Tori Stajduhar played all 110 minutes in goal for MHU and made six saves. Breanna Grizzle also played the entire match in the net for Emmanuel. The Lions were outshot 10-3 in the contest. Emmanuel edged MHU in corner kicks, 7-4.

The Lions will host SAC rival Anderson for Senior Day on Saturday, October 31. Match time is set for 2 p.m. in the Ammons Family Athletic Center and Meares Stadium.
