NEWBERRY, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's soccer team (1-1-1, 0-0-1 SAC) drew 0-0 with Newberry (3-0-1, 0-0-1 SAC) Saturday afternoon on the road.
Each team attempted nine shots on the contest with the Lions outshooting Newberry 5-0 after the first 45 minutes of play.
Carla Humera led all players with four shots followed by Mia Calderon's two for Mars Hill. Lilly Miller led the Wolves with three attempts, two on target.
Camryn Miller made three saves for her second shutout of the season.
Mars Hill returns home on Monday, September 16 when they face Saint Leo in non-conference play. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. inside the Ammons Family Athletic Center and Meares Stadium.
