MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's soccer team (1-11-1, 0-8-1 SAC) was defeated by Tusculum (4-9-1, 2-6-1 SAC) by a score of 5-0 Tuesday night.
Tusculum struck twice in the final 3:31 of the first half with goals from Addison Rishling and Alexis Roessler less than a minute apart.
In the second half, despite being outshot 8-6, Tusculum tacked on three more goals. Tanna Bookhammer collected a goal and assist in the half.
Carla Humera led all players with six shot attempts. Anise Mahathirath added three attempts followed by two from Samantha Swinson.
Camryn Miller made six saves in the contest.
Mars Hill returns to action on Friday, November 1 when they host Coker. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. inside Meares Stadium on Senior Day.
