Women’s Swimming Defeats Warren Wilson

SWANNANOA, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's swim team defeated Warren Wilson 164.5-48.5. The Lions won every event and improve to 1-1 on the year.

Nicole Day (Maggie Valley, N.C.), Lena Palo (Lexington, S.C.) and Miranda Schmidt (Weaverville, N.C.) each won three events for Mars Hill. Day broke three school records in the 100 Yard Backstroke (59.92), 50 Yard Freestyle (25.13) and 50 Yard Backstroke (28.49).

Mars Hill will host King and Brenau on Saturday. The double-dual meet will begin at 1 p.m.
