Mills signs with Women’s Swimming

MARS HILL, N.C. - Maggie Mills has signed a National Letter of Intent with Mars Hill College, head coach Teddy Guyer announced today.

Mills is from Brasstown, N.C., and attends Hayesville High School where she was a 2010 Wendy's Heisman state finalist. She has been the most valuable swimmer on her team the past two years and holds school records in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.

"Maggie will be a contributor to our team right away next year," Guyer stated. "She is a great swimmer and student, and I am very happy she has chosen our school to continue her career."

Mills has been a regional and state finalist the last three years in the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.
