Men’s, Women’s Swim in 4th at Delta St. Meet

CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Mars Hill men's and women's swim teams sit in fourth place after the first day of the Delta State Christmas Meet. The meet is being held at the at the Delta State Aquatics Center.

On the women's side, Lena Palo finished 12th in the 500 Yard Freestyle in a time of 5:37.14 and 14th in the 50 Yard Freestyle in 26.59 seconds. Megan Bartlett placed 14th in the 200 Yard Individual Medley in 2:24.34.

On the men's team, Trey McGraw placed ninth in the 200 Yard Individual Medley in 2:00.17. Tyler Treadway finished ninth in the 50 Yard Freestyle in 21.73 seconds. Justin Gale finished 14th in the 500 Yard Freestyle in 4:58.57.

Mars Hill will return to the pool on Saturday. Preliminary events start at 10 a.m. with the finals starting at 6 p.m.
