Women’s Swimming Splits with Milligan and Brenau

Mars Hill, N.C.-- The Mars Hill women's swimming team earned a split Friday night, defeating Milligan and falling to Brenau in a tri-meet at Harrell Pool. Mars Hill defeated Milligan 95-27, but fell to Brenau 68-54.
The Lions 200 Free Relay team, consisting of Nicole Day,
Taylor Bugg, Maggie Mills and Rachel Louviaux won the event with a
time of 1:43.31. Elle Grier was the top Lion individual performer,
winning both the 500 and 1000 Free.
Day turned in second place finishes in the 200 Free, 50 Free,
and 100 Back. Louviaux added a second place finish in the 50
Butterfly, while Mills came in 2nd in the 100 Free.
Mars Hill will swim at Catawba on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 2:00
p.m.
