Grier Sets School Record at ASC Meet
Junior Elle Grier set a new school record in the 1650 Freestyle at the Appalachian Swimming Conference championship meet. Her new record time is 17:59.95

MARS HILL, N.C. - Junior Elle Grier set a new school record in the 1650 Freestyle on Saturday at the Appalachian Swimming Conference championship meet held in Christiansburg, Va. As a team, Mars Hill finished in sixth place.
Grier shattered her previous school record in the event of 18:18.06 by 18 seconds as she cracked the 17-minute mark with a new record time of 17:59.95, good for a fourth place finish. She set the previous school record at the Fall Frenzy meet on November 22, 2014.
Mars Hill will compete in the Royal Invite at Queens on Friday and Saturday.
