Women's Swimming Falls to L-R
Three Lion swimmers claimed event wins in the loss

HICKORY, N.C.- The Mars Hill women's swimming team lost to Lenoir-Rhyne 148-89 on Friday evening at the Shuford Physical Education Center.
JJ Washshah was the winner of the 50 yard freestyle in 26.05 seconds and the 100 yard backstroke in 1:02.84. Abby Harty claimed the 100 yard breaststroke in 1:10.53 and the 200 yard breaststroke in 2:33.81. Elle Grier won the 1000 yard freestyle in 11:23.41 and scored second place finishes in the 200 yard backstroke and 500 yard freestyle.
Mars Hill returns home next Saturday, hosting King at 1 p.m.
