Women's Swimming Finishes in Fourth at Sewanee Invite
Mars Hill finished in fourth place after several strong performances

SEWANEE, TENN. - The Mars Hill women's swimming team had several strong performances on Saturday as the Lions finished in fourth place at the Sewanee Invite.
Rachel Nichols was the only swimmer to finish under 1 minute in the 100 butterfly as she touched first with a time of 59.90. Nichols finished in second place in the 100 freestyle (56.29 seconds). Abby Harty finished in second place in the 200 breaststroke (2:34.68) and in third place in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.60) and the 500 freestyle (5:24.19).
The quartet of Elle Grier, Harty, Nichols and Araya Houghton finished in third place in the 200 medley relay (1:59.01).
Mars Hill will hold Senior Night next Saturday as the Lions host Milligan at 6 p.m.
