Women's Swimming Loses to Lenoir Rhyne

MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill women's swimming team dropped its dual meet to Lenoir Rhyne on Friday, October 21. The Bears were able to capture a 144-116 victory in non-conference action.
Rachel Nichols won the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 fly. Kathryn Boland won the 100 breast, 200 breast, and 200 IM. Abby Harty won the 200 free, while Salliemae Blethroad won the 100 back. All four swimmers teamed up to capture the 200 medley relay win.
The Lions will return to the pool on Saturday, October 29, traveling to Barboursville, Ky. to face Union and Urbana at 1 p.m.
