Mars Hill opens season with wins over Lenoir-Rhyne, Pfeiffer
The Mars Hill women's swim team opened up their 2018-19 season with wins over Lenoir-Rhyne and Pfeiffer by scores of 149-113 and 217-32, respectively.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's swim team opened up their 2018-19 season with wins over Lenoir-Rhyne and Pfeiffer by scores of 149-113 and 217-32, respectively.
Kathryn Boland won three individual events and was a member of the winning 200 medley relay team with Haley Horton, Brianna Broussard and Elena Massa-Teijeiro. Boland took the 50 yard breaststroke in 31.72 and the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.56. She also set a school record in the 100 yard IM with a mark of 1:01.85.
Horton won the 50 and 100 yard backstroke while Broussard took the 50 and 100 yard butterfly. Massa-Teijeiro won two individual races; the 50 and 200 yard freestyle.
