Mars Hill defeats Converse, Chowan
The Mars Hill women's swim team picked up wins over Converse (106-89) and Chowan (137-65) Saturday afternoon.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's swim team picked up wins over Converse (106-89) and Chowan (137-65) Saturday afternoon.
Kathryn Boland earned wins in the 100 yard breaststroke and 400 yard IM while Elena Massa-Teijeiro won the 100 and 200 yard freestyle.
Other individual winners included Haley Horton in the 100 yard backstroke, Brianna Broussard in the 500 yard freestyle and Lorna Doorman in the 1000 yard freestyle.
The team of Boland, Massa-Teijeiro, Horton and Broussard also won the 200 yard medley relay.
Mars Hill improves to 7-0 on the season.
