School records set on day one of Fall Frenzy
The Mars Hill women's swim team opened up the Fall Frenzy on Friday by setting two school records and ending the day in eighth place overall.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's swim team opened up the Fall Frenzy on Friday by setting two school records and ending the day in eighth place overall.
In the morning preliminaries, Kathryn Boland set a school record in the 200 yard IM race, clocking in with a time of 2:07.89. That placed eighth overall. In the finals of the event held on Friday evening, Boland once again finished eighth in the A-Final, recording a time of 2:08.89.
Boland, along with Haley Horton, Brianna Broussard and Elena Massa-Teijeiro, set another Mars Hill record in the 400 yard medley relay on Friday night. The quartet turned in a time of 4:00.21 for a 13th place finish.
At the end of day one, the Lions sit in eighth place with 92 points.
