Mars Hill splits with Converse, Chowan

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's swim team earned a split versus Converse and Chowan, falling to the Valkyries by a score of 130-118, but downing the Hawks 134-125.

Lorna Doorman earned victories in the 500 and 1,000 yard freestyles, swimming times of 5:30.41 and 11:19.37, respectively.  

Haley Horton won the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.60 while Elena Massa picked up victories in the 50 and 100 yard freestyles with times of 26.22 and 55.81.
