Lions Fall To Tusculum

GREENEVILLE, TENN.-- Mars Hill's women's tennis team was defeated by Tusculum 8-1 in a non-conference match Tuesday afternoon at the Nichols Tennis Complex.

The match between the two South Atlantic Conference schools was designated a non-conference match. The conference match will take place Mar. 18. The Pioneers swept all three doubles matches and all but one singles match to lock up the victory. Mars Hill falls to 0-2 on the season. Tusculum is now 2-0 overall.

Tatiana Dualiby earned Mars Hill's point in the #1 singles court. The All-SAC performer earned a pair of 6-1 victories over counterpart Sarah Baker. Dualiby is now 2-0 in singles play this season, with both wins coming in the #1 court.

Mars Hill will conclude their fall season when they host Lees-McRae on Saturday, Oct. 12.
