Women's Tennis Falls to Limestone

GAFFNEY, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team lost 6-3 to Limestone on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference match at the Rector Tennis Center. Limestone improves to 5-4 with the win, while Mars Hill drops to 4-7.

Tatiana Dualiby and Lucy McLaurin each won two matches on the afternoon, teaming up to win number one doubles 8-4 over Alexandra Boulbin and Jessica Martinez. After the Lions dropped number two and number three doubles, Dualiby tied the match with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Marian Pinate. McLaurin gave Mars Hill a 3-2 lead with her 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 victory over Boulbin in number two singles, but the Saints won the final four singles matches for a 6-3 victory.

Mars Hill returns to the court on Monday afternoon, traveling to Brevard in a South Atlantic Conference match.
