ANDERSON, S.C.- The Mars Hill women's tennis team lost 8-1 at Anderson on Saturday at Max Grubbs Memorial Courts. Anderson improve to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the South Atlantic Conference while Mars Hill drops to 3-4 and 0-3.

Lucy McLaurin provided the lone win for the Lions as she was a three set winner at the third singles flight. McLaurin defeated Mairead Cleary 4-6, 7-6, 10-5 to claim her third win on the third court this season.

Mars Hill travels to Tusculum on Thursday.
