Lions Drop Decision to Bulldogs

MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team dropped a South Atlantic Conference match 7-2 to the visiting Wingate Bulldogs on Saturday, February 27 at the Hart Tennis Complex. The Lions drop to 3-7 overall and 0-4 in the SAC while WU improves to 5-3.

Samantha Echevarria collected another victory on the season as she was able to outlast Claudia De Andreis in straight sets, 7-6 and 7-5.

Jasha Geerdink also picked up a win for the Lions on the afternoon, dominating Oroma Womeodu 6-1 and 6-3.
