Women's Tennis Drops Match at Catawba

SALISBURY, N.C. – The Mars Hill women’s tennis team dropped a conference match to Catawba on Saturday, April 09 by the final of 7-2.

SALISBURY, N.C. – The Mars Hill women's tennis team dropped a conference match to Catawba on Saturday, April 09 by the final of 7-2. Samantha Echevarria collected the only singles win for the ladies while she teamed up with Jade Henke to tally the doubles win.

Singles competition

5. Lauren Sledd (CATW) def. Luz Heilman (MHUW) 8-0

6. Rachel Rudisill (CATW) def. Hannah Hill (MHUW) 6-0, 6-0

The Lions will return to action on Saturday, April 16 as they travel to play conference foe, Coker. First serve is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
