Lions downed by Carson-Newman

MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team fell to Carson-Newman, 7-2, in South Atlantic Conference play at the Hart Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon.

Evan Lake and Jasha Geerdink each won their singles matches. The victories were the only two the Lions would obtain throughout the day.

Mars Hill travels to Salisbury on Friday, April 6 to take on Catawba. Action is set for a 1 p.m. start.
