Lions sweep Falcons in non-conference play
The Mars Hill women's tennis team (7-3) swept visiting Pfeiffer (1-2), 7-0, at the Hart Tennis Complex Saturday afternoon in non-conference play.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team (7-3) swept visiting Pfeiffer (1-2), 7-0, at the Hart Tennis Complex Saturday afternoon in non-conference play.
The Lions claimed victory in both doubles matches played to secure the point and went on two sweep all five singles matches played. Evan Lake and Sophia Pelaez each won their singles matches in straight sets by scores of 6-0, 6-0.
Mars Hill returns to the courts on Saturday, February 16th when they take on Coker in South Atlantic Conference play. Action is slated for a 2 p.m. start.
