Lions compete at Montreat Indoor Kickoff

BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's track and field team partook in the Montreat Indoor Kickoff Thursday afternoon.

The Lions took the first, second and third spots in the 3,000 meter run.  Sydney Britt claimed the victory, running a time of 12:12.69.  Kylee Peck finished second with a time of 12:15.44 while Meghan Noon earned third with a time of 12:52.02.

Tiffany Holloway set a new personal record with her win in the shot put.  She recorded a mark of 12.34 meters.
