The Mars Hill women's track and field team opened up action at the Winthrop Adidas Invitational Friday afternoon in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's track and field team opened up action at the Winthrop Adidas Invitational Friday afternoon in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Tiffany Holloway placed sixth overall in the shot put, recording a mark of 12.74 meters.  Recording another top 10 finish for the Lions was Shahnika Williams in the long jump, posting a distance of 5.36 meters.

In the high jump, Kylee Peck recorded a mark of 1.50 meters, good for 22nd overall.  Nyla Feeney finished 24th overall in the 5000 meters with a time of 19:26.47.
