Volleyball Loses to Georgia College
Mars Hill’s volleyball squad lost to Georgia College 3-1 in the Lumpkin Center as part of the CSU-Hughston Clinic Invitational.

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Mars Hill's volleyball squad lost to Georgia College 3-1 in the Lumpkin Center as part of the CSU-Hughston Clinic Invitational. The Lions fell to 1-5 on the season while the Bobcats improved to 4-2 overall.
Mars Hill won the first set 26-24 before losing the next three by scores of 14-25, 17-25 and 15-25.
Rebecca Butler led MHU with 10 kills followed by Lauren Hochstetler with eight. Sara Fahrenbrook provided her teammates with 35 assists in the loss. Christen Nicholson, Hannah Wilson and Hochstetler led the Lions' defense with 21, 14 and 12 digs in the match, respectively.
Mars Hill will face Montevallo in their final match of the event later in the day.
