Mars Hill sweeps Shorter, Erskine on day two of PBC/SAC Crossover

DUE WEST, S.C. - The Mars Hill volleyball team (3-1) ended day two of the PBC/SAC Crossover with two sweeps over Shorter and Erskine, ending the weekend with a 3-1 record.

GAME ONE: MHU 3, SU 0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-23)

Mars Hill opened the day with a 3-0 win over Shorter as Grace Lilly led all players with 11 kills.  The Lions hit .245 on the day, including a .538 second set where they landed 14 kills with no errors on 26 attempts.

The Lions rolled the Flying Fleet in their final game of the weekend, including a 25-8 second set that saw Mars Hill hit .526.  Sarah Goddard recorded her third double-digit kill game of the weekend, leading all players with 13 on the day.
