Women's Cross Country Competes at Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Mars Hill women's cross country team ran to a ninth place finish at the Asheville Cross Country Challenge on Saturday, October 01, 2016. The meet consisted of Division-I competition such as UNCA, Winthrop, Western Carolina, and Campbell.

Kaleigh Jackson continued to lead the way for the Lions with her 12^th place finish, crossing the line in 19:27.79 during the 5k race. Rachel Strickland earned a 54^th place finish with a time of 21:15.43

The Lions will return to action on Friday, October 7 as they travel to the Queen City of Charlotte, N.C. to compete in the Queens Royal Invitational.
