Lions finish fifth at Columbus State Cougar Invitational
Mars Hill's women's cross country team finished fifth overall at the 14th Annual Columbus State Cougar Invitational. Nyla Feeney led all Lions' runners.

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Mars Hill's women's cross country team finished fifth overall at the 14th Annual Columbus State Cougar Invitational. Nyla Feeney led all Lions' runners.
Feeney turned in a time of 19:59.19, which was good for 17th overall. It was also a personal best time in the 5K race.
Freshmen Emily Wilson and Hannah Jones ran personal bests with times of 24:58.69 and 26:19.86, respectively.
Mars Hill averaged a time of 22:03.79 per runner in their fifth place finish. That set a new season best. They ran the course in a total time of 1:50:18.93.
The Lions will travel to Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, September 29 to run at the Queens Royal Invitational. The race is slated to start at 4 p.m.
