Lions place 10th at SAC Championship

The Mars Hill women's cross country team finished 10th overall at the SAC Championships Saturday morning. Nyla Feeney was the top Lions' runner, finishing 34th overall.

HICKORY, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's cross country team finished 10th overall at the SAC Championships Saturday morning. Nyla Feeney was the top Lions' runner, finishing 34th overall.

Feeney ran a time of 19:51.18. She was the top Lions' finisher in every race during the 2017 campaign.

Rachel Strickland and Sydney Britt were the next two Mars Hill finishers with times of 21:07.79 and 22:09.69, respectively.

Queens repeated as SAC Champions, running a time of 1:31:10.94. Anderson placed second with Wingate, Catawba and Lincoln Memorial rounding out the top five.
