Feeney places second overall at Bulldog Stampede

Nyla Feeney placed second overall and led the Mars Hill women’s cross country team to a third place finish at the Bulldog Stampede held on Saturday morning.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Nyla Feeney placed second overall and led the Mars Hill women's cross country team to a third place finish at the Bulldog Stampede held on Saturday morning.

Feeney ran a time of 24:39.08 for the top three finish. Meghan Moon placed 12^th turning in a time 27:18.65.

Sydney Britt and Rachel Strickland placed 16^th and 18^th, respectively, with times of 28:40.21 and 29:07.33. Emily Wilson, Hannah Jones and Gabrielle Mrowczynski rounded out the Lions' team with 34^th, 36^th and 41^st place finishes.

Mars Hill placed third overall with a total team time of 2:24:27.65.

Mars Hill will take part in the North Georgia Invitational pre-regional meet on Saturday, September 29th. The race is set for an 8:15 a.m. start.
