Mars Hill races at NCAA DII Southeast Regionals

WINGATE, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's cross country team ran at the 2022 NCAA DII Southeast Regionals Saturday morning.

Lindsey Jenkins was the top placing Lion, running a time of 27:13.37. Elana Mackey finished just nine seconds later with a time of 27:22.82.

Close behind Mackey was Alyssa Jamerson with a time of 27:49.61. Rounding out the Lions' squad was Emma Bridges and Maya Adams with times of 30:17.94 and 30:18.69, respectively while Zoe Rumley turned in a time of 32:20.44.

The Lions placed 20th on the day with a total time of 2:23:02.43 with an average time of 28:36.49.
