Bio

Meredith Cottrell joined the MHU Athletic Department staff as an Associate Athletic Trainer in August of 2019.

Meredith graduated from MHU in 2017 with a BS degree in athletic training and a minor in coaching. She was a member of the women’s soccer team from 2013-2015. After becoming an NATA member in 2015, Meredith has worked steadily at refining her skills as an athletic trainer.  From there, Meredith went on to the University of Tennessee Knoxville to earn her MS in Kinesiology concentrated sport psychology and motor behavior. During her tenure at UT, Meredith worked in the athletics department as a graduate assistant with the cheer, mascot, swim and dive teams.

She currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina with her dog, Sukha.
