Bio

Alexis joined the Athletic Training staff in August of 2018 as an Associate Athletic Trainer.

She graduated from Mars Hill University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Athletic Training and a minor in Coaching. She was also a part of the Women’s Track and Field team at Mars Hill from 2011-2015 where she broke 13 school records in which those records remain unbroken. During her time at Mars Hill she served as the President of the Athletic Training Club during the 2014-2015 school year. Alexis worked as an Intern Athletic Trainer at the University of North Carolina Asheville from October 2015 to August of 2016. She was also a part-time Athletic Trainer for Mission’s Hospital during her time at UNCA.

She attended Wichita State University in the fall of 2016 and received a Master’s of Education Degree in Exercise Science. During her time at Wichita State, she was a volunteer coach for the Men’s and Women’s track and field team during the 2016-2018 indoor and outdoor seasons.

Alexis is originally from Florence, South Carolina and now resides in Mars Hill, NC.
