Football ranked No. 25 in AFCA DII Poll
WACO, Tex.- Mars Hill is ranked tied for 25th in the nation in the week nine edition of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Top 25.
Mars Hill (7-2, 5-1 SAC) is off to its best start since 1985 after winning at Tusculum, 47-37, last Saturday. The Lions are 7-1 against Division II competition this season.
Delta State (Miss.) remained in the top spot of the AFCA Division II Coaches' Top 25 Poll with 25 first-place votes.
Mars Hill hosts Carson-Newman on Saturday, Nov. 12. Kickoff from the Ammons Family Athletic Center and Meares Stadium is set for 1 p.m.
